About Keel

KEEL is where design meets distinction—an atelier of craftsmanship and innovation. Designed for the discerning, our ever-evolving collection embodies an uncompromising pursuit of luxury, sculptural elegance, and timeless form.

About KEEL

KEEL is a studio where form follows feeling—where furniture is crafted not just to serve, but to speak. Founded by husband and wife duo Zarah Zahir and Syed Ahmed Khalid Bukhari, KEEL is rooted in a shared belief that design should be both intentional and alive. With undergraduate degrees from New York and a global approach to manufacturing, they merge artistic instinct with intellectual precision.

At KEEL, we create objects that exist between architecture and art—sculptural yet functional, minimal yet expressive. Every piece is the result of a dialogue between material, process, and purpose. From bespoke furniture to full interior commissions, we approach each project with an unwavering commitment to quality, clarity, and timelessness.

Our perspective is international, but our process is deeply personal. We work closely with expert craftsmen, champion traditional joinery, and maintain hands-on control over every detail—ensuring that each creation reflects the highest standard of design and execution.

We collaborate with architects, collectors, and design enthusiasts who value the uncommon—the kind of beauty that reveals itself over time. KEEL is not about trends. It’s about permanence. It’s about presence. It’s about designing with intention, and building with soul.

Founders

Zarah Zahir

An architect by training, Zarah approaches design as a visual artist—guided by instinct, composition, and the emotional weight of form. Her work blurs the line between structure and sculpture.

Syed Ahmed Khalid Bukhari

With a background in mathematics and economics—and an enduring love for physics—Ahmed brings a deep analytical lens to material behavior, balance, and the unseen logic behind beautiful things.
