Dining Chairs

A dining chair is sat in for two hours at a time, so the back matters as much as the seat. Dining chairs in solid wood, upholstered or woven, made to order in Lahore.

Padded, for long dinners: the Tuxedo, Potter, Dolly and Balthazar. Woven, for texture: the Roger and Corset, with natural fibre through the back. Cane: The Pierre. Light enough to move with one hand: the Founders Dining Chair, in solid ash.

Mixing is allowed. Armchairs at the heads and plainer chairs along the sides is the oldest way to make a table look finished. The Tuxedo Dining Bench works along a wall or under a window.
